I'm Liz. I'm 27 years old. I live in New England. And I make short-form videos about film.

Watching movies and talking about them online is not my full-time job. But I'd like to make that happen! Ideally, I'd like to have more time to make long-form content. But as it stands now, the best I can do is under ten minutes.

I don't necessarily have a favorite film genre. I just like good movies, dammit. Letterboxd tells me I'm partial to films about powerful stories of heartbreak and suffering; creepy, chilling, and terrifying horror; politics and human rights; and intense violence and sexual transgression. I'm just interested in narratives that feel like they're picking at a scab of truth.

Other than film, I've been trying to get back into reading. Burnout after getting a graduate degree in English and falling down the corporate internet brainrot rabbit hole has really stolen my love of reading. I'm in the process of turning that boat around.

I love music and live concerts. I love cannolis. I love cotton fabrics. I love soft, warm pools of light. I love jewel tones. I love L'Occitane shower oil, even though it's very expensive. I love cuddling with my partner while watching a movie and falling asleep halfway through. I love how the air smells in Ireland. I love teaching people new things, or when someone tells me they loved something I recommended. I love being earnest. I love when the red line gets near the Charles/MGH stop during sunset and everyone looks up from their phones and books to look at the light on the river at the same time. I love the feeling of speechlessness.
